Favorite Things

Mother’s Day is coming up + I can think of no one better to celebrate than all the moms, in all the seasons of life. I rounded up some of my favorite gifts for moms below — as a Virginia Beach Maternity Photographer and mom of four myself, I have found some things I love along the way and am excited to share them below!!

Coffee Table Book — I love a good book to decorate with, + this is such a good one! Shea McGee is one of my go-tos for inspiration, for both fashion and home, and this book would be beautiful tucked in any corner in your home.

Caraway Pans — I am in the market for a good new set of pans and have heard the best things about the Caraway ones. I love the white + gold on these, they would be so pretty sitting out in the kitchen as decor, too.

Spa Headband — A new one of these is always useful, I use every morning + night (and my four daughters love them also!!).

Initial Necklace — My favorite necklace of all time, I love that you can wear it every day + it matches with everything. It’s such a special gift for a new mom!

Bag — I have used this as my diaper bag for the last year + it’s so good — so incredibly roomy + can fit all the stuff that moms need. I love to use mine with different pouches to keep all the things.

Charlotte Tillbury Moisturizer — This is my go-to moisturizer, a little pricey but worth it. It feels like butter!

Ballet Slippers — I am having a red moment, especially with accessories! These would be so fun paired with denim or white, and so cute all spring + summer long.

Headphones — These are what I am hoping for this Mother’s Day! I use my air pods ALL the time and love the idea of having these as well (and they have great reviews!).

Summer Fridays — I had to throw in another favorite makeup product, this is always such a great gift idea for anyone.

And lastly, I am biased, but I cannot think of a better gift for ANY mom than a photo session! No matter how old your kids are, documenting the season of life you are in right now is so special + truly cannot be matched.
