I have had four newborns myself + know very well how fast those tiny fingers and toes grow (even when you want to keep them little forever!). The newborn days are truly some of the most tender moments you will ever have and it is such an honor to celebrate the miracle of life with you. I also know how much of a transition the newborn stage can feel like for the whole family, and absolutely bring my patience and flexibility to newborn sessions to
ensure that everyone feels relaxed and at ease through the whole process. My lifestyle newborn sessions can take place in your home, in my studio in Virginia Beach, or outdoors. They include full-service consultation, with a Session Prep Guide complete with styling tips (and assistance if you prefer!). All newborn sessions with me include access to my newborn photography props which include swaddles, bloomers, + baskets.

All of my session are booked through a booking site that is easy to navigate + provide payment. You can use your card, PayPal, or Venmo - whatever is easiest for you.
how can i book my session?
Once you book your session, you will receive a Session Prep Guide which will include styling tips for your session - including pictures!
I have a background in Fashion, including a degree in Fashion Merchandising, + love to help with this part of the process! I always offer a zoom call to chat about styling or am here to text or email about looks that will add to the overall final outcome + beauty in your photos. My newborn session does include access to my newborn styling options, including swaddles and tiny outfits for boys + girls!
WHAT DO I WEAR?
My lifestyle newborn photo sessions can take place at your home or at my indoor studio in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach. My studio gets great light and is an ideal option for capturing your newborn and family.
Outdoor newborn sessions are also an option, of course depending on the time of year. Once you book, you will receive a Session Prep Guide which provide information on location options and of course I will work with you on what works best for your family + vision for your session!
where will be the photos be?
Absolutely! Lifestyle newborn sessions are ideal for mom, dad, baby + any siblings.
In a typical newborn session, I will get some shots of baby alone, with mom, dad, any siblings, and then the entire group! It's such a beautiful, natural way to document this new, exciting chapter for your family.
can my whole family be in the photos?
I would love to capture your special moments, but all sessions outside of 30 miles of Virginia Beach have a travel fee.

do you travel?
Once your gallery is complete (usually within two to three weeks), you will receive a link via email to your online gallery.
The link can easily be share with family + friends. The files are very easy to download on your smartphone or computer and you will have full rights to print and use your photos as you choose. There is professional printing available through your gallery to make it as easy as possible for you!
HOW will i receive my photos?
In advance, if you can! It is never too early to book your session, I can schedule up to a year in advance! It is best to schedule as soon as you can so that you can secure your spot on the schedule.
Newborn sessions are booked by the month of your due date, and then you will reach out once baby is here to choose an actual day + time for your session. I typically only take on two newborns a month to ensure I have space on my calendar!
