Virginia Beach maternity photography for the expecting mama who is looking for timeless, joyful images. Maternity sessions can be captured outdoors or in my light-filled studio.
I fell in love with photography by documenting my own four daughters and quickly realized how much I will always treasure the photos I have taken of them. I want every mom to have the same opportunity to have memories of their own kids to hold on to forever, and that's why I became a Virginia Beach family photographer. Beyond just the photos, my goal with every session is to provide you with an experience that feels natural and fun, and that is authentic and unique to your family. I have worked with families across Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and the entire Hampton Roads area - and would love to chat more about how we can capture your family, too!

All full sessions booked with Ashley Brickner Photography are given access to my natural-lit, timeless studio in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach (if you are interested in indoor photos!). This offers a light + airy setting that is comfortable for the entire family. Full session clients also are given the option to use my client closet, a curated closet of dresses (size small - xlarge) that photograph beautifully. Once you are ready to move forward, I will create a booking link for you and all you have to do is sign the contract and pay the deposit. Once that is complete, your spot is reserved on my calendar!

As soon as you book your session, you will receive my Session Prep Guide and other resources for planning (including my Style Guide!). You also have an option to book a Prep + Planning call for all full sessions. I love the planning process and love to help you with this!

Yay, it's session day! And I'VE GOT YOU!!! All you have to do is show up and I will take care of the rest. I will guide you through poses with prompts to ultimately provide you with a beautiful gallery of images.

After your session (usually between two + three weeks!), you will receive an email with a link to your gallery. The photos are easy to download and the link is easy to share with family + friends. With full sessions, you can save, print and share all the high-resolution images in your gallery.
