As a mama to four, I know how important it is to capture those sweet first moments of your little one's life. My light and airy newborn sessions are aimed at documenting this special, fleeting season in a timeless way to preserve precious memories for years to come. As a Virginia Beach Newborn Photographer, I offer a full-service experience with a Prep + Planning call (if you would like!), access to my client closet curated with beautiful dresses ideal for
pospartum, and a Session Prep Guide with other resources to help you plan for your dream session. My light-filled studio is available for newborn sessions, or if you prefer we can shoot at your home, or in the warmer months, outdoors! I will provide swaddles, tiny outfits, and baskets for baby if you would like. Let's make some magic together.

Once you are ready to move forward, I will create a booking link for you and all you have to do is sign the contract and pay the deposit. Once that is complete, your spot is reserved on my calendar!

As soon as you book your session, you will receive my Session Prep Guide and other resources for planning (including my Style Guide!). You also have an option to book a Prep + Planning call. I love the planning process and love to help you with this! If baby is not here yet, I will reserve your spot and have you reach out once baby is here to officially reserve your date.

Yay, it's session day! And I'VE GOT YOU!!! All you have to do is show up ready to love on your people and I will take care of the rest. I understand the patience and flexibility it takes to photograph a newborn and we will take the time we need to capture your family during this sweet season.

After your session (usually between two + three weeks!), you will receive an email with a link to your gallery. The photos are easy to download and the link is easy to share with family + friends. You can save, print and share all the high-resolution images in your gallery.
Let's get you those photos!
All newborn sessions booked with Ashley Brickner Photography are given access to my natural-lit, timeless studio in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach. This offers a light + airy setting that is comfortable for the entire family. Full session clients are also given the option to use to my client closet, a curated closet of dresses (size small-large) that photograph beautifully. Most of my newborn sessions are photographed either at my natural-lit, light + bright studio in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach or in your home. During the warmer months, outdoor newborn sessions are also an option! If you aren't sure which location would fit your family best, reach out and we can chat to see what would work best for you.

I love to help with the styling, it is one of my favorite parts of the process! Once you book, you will receive my Session Prep Guide which has styling information and recommendations. In addition, all newborn session clients are able to use my client closet, which is a collection of dresses that photograph beautifully. I am ALWAYS here to help with styling and encourage you to use me as a resource on this.

My goal as your photographer is to make the process as seamless, fun and stress-free as possible! I will lead the session with poses and prompts (I've got you!!) .
In maternity sessions, I capture both photos of you (and your beautiful bump!) and with other immediate family members, if you would like.

I sure do! Many of my newborn clients book a membership, which is an ideal way to get multiple sessions at a discounted price and to document your baby (or belly!) grow.
